This narrow kitchen was old and dark with little counter space, making it hard to work in. Adding a base cabinet and a peninsula with drawers and a pull-out trash bin doubled the workspace. The peninsula also gained a breakfast bar with an overhang. Cabinets were repainted in two colors: muted green on the bottom and off-white on top. The microwave was replaced by a custom vented hood, with matching trim added over the sink. New quartz counters, marble backsplash, and brass handles completed the update.
