Santa Rosa Beach, FL

This home, originally built in the early 2000s, felt somewhat outdated and plain in its design. By removing the wall between the kitchen and living room, an open and inviting space was created, ideal for entertaining guests. The old electric fireplace was removed to give more space in the living area. New engineered wood floors were installed throughout the main area, replacing the old and worn tile. The kitchen underwent a complete update, featuring new cabinets, sleek quartz countertops, and modern appliances. A stylish dry bar with a painted shiplap accent wall and floating shelves was thoughtfully added to the former breakfast nook. New lighting fixtures, including elegant pendant lights above the peninsula, significantly brightened the room. The entrance to the office was reduced in size and fitted with custom barn doors to enhance functionality and charm. Finally, fresh paint on the walls and trim brought the entire space together with a clean and polished finish.

The bathrooms also received simple yet effective updates that made a significant and noticeable difference. In the primary bathroom, the cabinets were carefully painted to enhance their appearance, while the countertops were expertly resurfaced with durable epoxy porcelain for a sleek finish. The faucets were replaced with modern fixtures, elevating the overall look. Additionally, the large, plain mirror was replaced with two stylish, decorative mirrors that add character to the space. Shiplap was installed behind the vanity, introducing a touch of texture and warmth, and new, contemporary lighting fixtures were added to brighten the room. A frameless shower door took the place of the old one, giving the shower area a clean and updated look. Floating shelves were placed above the tub, providing both function and aesthetic appeal, and new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring was installed to complete the transformation with a durable and attractive surface. Meanwhile, the guest bathroom received its own refresh with a coat of fresh paint, resurfaced countertops, a new decorative mirror, and updated lighting fixtures, all contributing to a rejuvenated and welcoming atmosphere.
